We launched our first GenAI Commercial on Connected TV (CTV) in March for Virtual X Kitchen. Since then, we have launched campaigns for car dealerships, law firms, restaurants, coffee shops, fitness influencers, and more.
Around the same time we launched streamr.ai in beta, I had a DSP reach out to us who said they have 5-6 advertisers per week who want to advertise on CTV but don't have a video ad.
They asked if we had an API they could use for offering our GenAI Commercials to advertisers on their platform. We did not at the time, but of course, as CEO I said we did. 😅
Luckily, our small engineering team consists of all 10X engineers, so they built the GenAI API over the weekend, and we were off to the races.
This is when it became crystal clear that our best shot at bringing millions of small and medium-sized businesses into the CTV ecosystem and Democratizing CTV ad buying was to arm Broadcasters, AdTech Platforms, and Agencies with GenAI Solutions, making it drastically cheaper and easier for SMBs to advertise their businesses on CTV.
In less than three months of focusing on selling GenAI Solutions, we announced partnering with Thinking Media to build a GenAI Ads Manager for their Free Ad-Supported Streaming TV (FAST) Service STIRR. We are also building another GenAI Ads Manager for a Broadcaster that will launch in September and talking to hundreds of DSPs, SSPs, Broadcasters, and Agencies that have expressed interest in our GenAI Solutions either by signing up or booking a meeting.
